Despite major advances in the areas of treatment and prevention of HIV/AIDS, health disparities persist and manifest in different ways. The workshop will provide a mechanism to (1) capture what interventions are being researched within academic centers, community organizations and other research venues; (2) strengthen community research by providing assistance with evaluation as needed; (3) set the framework for developing a research agenda of new interventions; (4) help solidify the science of disparities and its interventions.
