Chassity Griffin, MPH
Chassity Griffin, MPH, has over 10 years of experience working in the HIV/AIDS arena. Her expertise spans from community based research to clinical trials, program evaluation and clinic development. After earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention from USC, Chassity went on to gain a Master of Public Health for Health Professionals degree in Community Health Sciences from UCLA. In her current role as Program Manager of Special Populations, Chassity oversees medical and prevention services for HIV and HCV for a FQHC serving more than 19,000 patients annually. In this capacity, Chassity is working to expand the 3-clinic network’s visibility as a HIV and Hepatitis service provider while simultaneously increasing awareness among the LA community on benefits of various treatments and prevention tools. To this end, Chassity recently spearheaded the launch of a new in-house Specialty Care Clinic designed for people living with or at high risk for HIV and Hepatitis, which opened in May 2018.
