CHIPTS and the San Diego Center for AIDS Research (SD CFAR) are excited to invite you to a virtual World AIDS Day 2021 Event on Addressing Inequities and Syndemics to End the HIV Epidemic coming up on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 from 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM PST.
Join us to commemorate World AIDS Day 2021 with a reflective and celebratory event highlighting innovative research to address HIV and syndemics of trauma, substance use, and mental health disorders 40 years after the first reports of HIV/AIDS in Southern California. We celebrate medical advancements in HIV care and prevention and elevate community perspectives on the work ahead to use science in collaboration with community partners to address inequities and ultimately end the HIV epidemic.
