The UCLA Center for HIV Identification, Prevention, and Treatment Services (CHIPTS), APLA Health, San Francisco AIDS Foundation, and the Pacific AIDS Education and Training Center (PAETC) – BANCC and Los Angeles Area are pleased to invite you to the National HIV/AIDS and Aging Awareness Day Event: Remembering the Past, Reflecting on the Present, Envisioning the Future on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, from 10 am – 12 pm (Pacific Time).

It is estimated that by 2030, 70% of people with HIV in the US will be 50 years or older. We invite service providers, public health professionals, and other stakeholders interested in addressing the complex needs of this growing population to participate in this exciting and informative event. Continuing education credit is being provided by the PAETC – Los Angeles Area. Courses meet the qualification for a maximum of 2.0 hours of continuing education credit for LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs, and LEPs as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (provider #PCE 128280). The course is approved for a maximum of 2.0 contact hours by the California Board of Registered Nursing (provider #15484). Pharmacists registered in CA may use BRN CEs as per their governing board.
