Dear Colleagues,
We invite you to join the Center for Dissemination and Implementation at Stanford (C-DIAS), in collaboration with the UCLA CHIPTS 3R Implementation Science Hub, for an engaging panel discussion entitled “Methods for Rescuing Implementation Trials that Have Gone Off the Rails” on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, from 10 – 11:30 AM PT.
Featured panelists: Geoffrey Curran, PhD, Alison Hamilton, PhD, and JD Smith, PhD
Session description: In this panel, three principal investigators will describe how their extramurally funded implementation trials encountered potentially study-ending problems: Shifting context barriers (e.g., staffing, local policy, partner priorities) resulting in problems with site recruitment, retention, and/or engagement; missing data; mis-specified implementation strategies; and failed strategies.
