1:00pm – 2:30pm Los Angeles

Dear Colleagues,

The UCLA Rapid, Rigorous, Relevant (3R) Implementation Science Hub is excited to invite you to an upcoming Implementation Science Methods Workshop on Implementation Study Designs to Research Health Disparities coming up on Friday, March 25, from 1 PM to 2:30 PM PST.

Implementation science is increasingly attentive to health disparities. During this 90-minute workshop with Drs. Ana Baumann, Matthew Chinman, and Geoffrey Curran, we will introduce a heuristic for matching implementation study designs (e.g., hybrid designs) to the level of evidence for interventions to address identified disparities.

Our specific objectives are to:

– Define health disparities and health equity in the implementation science context.
– Review implementation study design options and a heuristic for researching health disparities.
– Discuss a health equity framework of relevance to conducting implementation research related to health disparities.
