The CHIPTS Community Advisory Board in collaboration with our partners are pleased to invite you to attend a free film screening entitled, “AIDS DIVA: The Legend of Connie Norman” on Thursday, June 30, 2022 , 6pm PST – 8pm PST at UCLA Fowler MuseumThe Harry and Yvonne Lenart Auditorium (308 Charles E. Young Dr N, Los Angeles, CA 90024).

In the spirit of Pride Month, this is a special evening planned to honor, celebrate and be inspired by a legendary and courageous LGBTQ+ rights activist who helped pave the way for equitable access to HIV/AIDS prevention and care. There will be a robust discussion session after the film screening. Learn more about the film.

Light refreshments will be served in the Amphitheater prior to the screening. We recommend that attendees arrive 15-20 minutes prior to event start time to allow time for parking.

Courtesy parking is available for registered attendees. Parking information will be sent to registered attendees via the email address used to register for the event. Ensure that the parking coupon code is received from the event organizers prior to parking your vehicle on the day of the event.

COVID-19 policy: In-person attendees should be prepared to verify vaccination status or provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours. Attendees must comply with the UCLA indoor masking policy while on campus.
