Description

Attachment

The Adult Attachment Scale (AAS) consists of 18 items that measure 3 dimensions of attachment: (1) comfort with closeness and intimacy, (2) comfort with dependency, and (3) anxiety about rejection or abandonment. The scale is measured on a 5 point Likert scale. Higher scores indicate the degree to which a particular dimension is characteristic of the individual.
