Post-Doctoral Scholar (2016-2019)

Joan Christodoulou, PhD, MPhil, was awarded the T32 Fellowship to be trained in HIV combination prevention and its comorbid conditions, focusing on novel technologies and reducing health disparities. Her short-term and research aims over the next two to three years are to examine and develop interventions on HIV prevention and treatment with a focus on youth and family wellness. In addition to writing manuscripts, Joan aims to further develop her research and statistical skills in the area of longitudinal data analysis and modeling, as well as assist with the Center’s research and grant writing needs. These aims will help develop Joan’s portfolio to eventually apply for a Career Development (K) award during her second year.
