Ms. Harris has experience in maternal health in Kenya, participating in the evaluation of Kenya’s Reproductive Health Vouchers Program as well as a study validating indicators of skilled birth attendance. She is experienced with qualitative research, having conducted interviews on themes related to displacement in Kampala and Lira, Uganda, and analyzed in-depth interviews from sites throughout Kenya on barriers to voucher use for Safe Motherhood services and quality of care.  At present, Ms. Harris provides administrative support to Dr. Rotheram-Borus on projects in Los Angeles and South Africa on maternal and child health, HIV, drug and alcohol abuse, and family wellness. Specifically, Ms. Harris supports grant, IRB and manuscript development, as well as the coordination of CHIPTS and CAB meetings.
