Coordinated Prevention Networks

The Intervention Core has partnered with the Los Angeles County Office of AIDS Programs and Policy to provide evaluation technical assistance to the Coordinated Prevention Networks (CPN).

This is a demonstration project to establish prevention services linkages and coordination among agencies in Service Planning Areas (SPAs) 4 (Metro), 6 (South Los Angeles), 7 (East Los Angeles), and 8 (Long Beach). As part of this effort the Intervention Core has compiled statistics on four health issues - HIV/AIDS, sexually transmitted diseases, tuberculosis, and substance abuse. Below are disease burden profiles for these SPAs.

The files are in PDF form.

SPA 4 - Metro

SPA 6 - South Los Angeles

This project is funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the County of Los Angeles, Department of Health Services, Office of AIDS Programs and Policy.
