Non-CHIPTS Related Volunteer Opportunities:

The HIV Prevention Trials Network is currently seeking two at-large members to serve on the HPTN 073 Black Caucus.  HPTN 073 is a demonstration project focusing on the uptake/adherence of PrEP by Black MSM in three US sites / cities [UCLA, George Washington University, University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill].  The HPTN 073 Black Caucus is currently composed of representatives from each of the study’s three clinical research sites as well as two consultants who are not directly affiliated with any study site.  Potential members:

  • May be of any race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or gender
  • Must have an extensive understanding of racial and sexual identities
  • Must have extensive experience working with Black MSM populations on a national level
  • Must be able to participate on one 1 hour conference call a month

Please note that this position is not a paid position and only open to US residents.
