Mpowerment is a community building program for gay, bisexual, Black & Latino men 18-24. Young men are the decision makers of this project acting as agents of change within their social networks to spread and reinforce safer sex messages, establishing a safer sex norm in the community.

The program consists of three (3) major divisions:

  1. CORE GROUP AND VOLUNTEERS (long-term commitment)

The Core Group is the decision making body of the project. They meet on a weekly basis to coordinate all program activities. They participate in formal and informal outreach.  They maintain the project space and mount a publicity campaign and design the logo & name for the program.
