Dean Linda Rosenstock and the UCLA School of Public Health invite you to attend a seminar with former CDC Director and public health icon, Dr. William H. Foege.
Dr. William H. Foege is an epidemiologist who  has held a succession of distinguished positions, including Director of the Centers for Disease Control and Professor and Health Policy Fellow at Emory University. Prior to being appointed its director, Foege was chief of CDC’s Small Pox Eradication Program. His most recent position was as Senior Fellow at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Foege is the author of Global Health Leadership and Management and the newly-released House on Fire: The Fight to Eradicate Smallpox. |
