UCLA CFAR is hosting the National Conference for the CFAR Social and Behavioral Sciences Network (SBSRN). The meeting is 23rd/24th October with a Mentoring Day preceding the main meeting (22nd).
Greetings all:

We are excited to announce that registration is now open for the CFAR Social and Behavioral Sciences Research Network (SBSRN) 8th National Scientific Meeting.

The theme of the 2014 meeting is “Disparities in Research, Clinical Treatment, Prevention and Policies: A Call to Action.” The meeting is preceded by a mentoring day for early career investigators, followed by two days of scientific panels and round tables. Panels consisting of social and behavioral scientists, community stakeholders, as well as government representatives, will cover topics of multi-level conceptualizations of HIV/AIDS; policy and structural approaches in HIV/AIDS; and vulnerability, marginalization, and inequality. The agenda will allow ample time for discussions and networking. We would appreciate if you would share this information with interested colleagues.
