Our comprehensive Treatment Education Certificate Training will offer up-to-the-minute information on HIV treatment and will provide practical education skills for service and healthcare providers who are primarily working with communities of color: treatment educators, case managers, nurse case managers, mental health professionals.
The training is facilitated by APLA Treatment Education staff and by clinical staff from USC, UCLA & Charles Drew University—Pacific AIDS Education Training Centers. The 2-day training features a roster of leading HIV clinicians, researchers and educators presenting up-to-the-minute HIV/AIDS information.
Case managers, treatment and health educators, mental health professionals and clinical staff who are
working in HIV/AIDS are welcome to apply. Participants must be able to attend both days.
Registration is required. Participation and room location upon training confirmation.
