Scientific Advisory Board
The CHIPTS Scientific Advisory Board contains advisors both internal and external to UCLA whose main area of research is HIV, as well as advisors well respected in their fields who can add perspectives outside of HIV, especially as they relate priority areas for CHIPTS (e.g. marketing research, media). In this way, CHIPTS’ research, partnership, and dissemination activities will be reviewed in contrast to those occurring throughout the University of California system and a national perspective of researchers from other Centers. The Scientific Advisory Board also participates in the strategic planning for CHIPTS, provides input on the scientific agenda and evaluates the continuous quality improvement initiative.
